Questions

Which stems can I get?

Vocal + Music gives Vocals and Music / Instrumental. Multi-Stem gives Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Other. Piano is marked experimental: the model separates it less reliably than the others.

Where is my song processed?

Only after you agree, the song is sent to Beathex’s separation engine and used only to make your stems. The stems are available to you through a private link for about an hour.

What quality are the stems?

FLAC and WAV stems are lossless 24-bit (FLAC files are smaller), MP3 stems 320 kbps, all 44.1 kHz stereo — the rate the model works at. You choose the format before separating, and the files are delivered exactly as separated.

What does it cost?

During the beta, separation is free with a daily allowance. A separation that fails does not count towards it.
