Who provides Beathex
The operating entity, its registration details and its registered address. Not stated anywhere in this repository and must be supplied by the owner.

Accounts
Registration requires an email address, a username, a display name and a password. An address must be confirmed by email before the account is usable. Sessions are issued as a short-lived access token and a refresh token held in a cookie.

What listeners may do
Browse the catalogue, play published recordings, keep playlists and see their own listening history. Playback is available without an account.

What sellers may do
Publish artists, releases and tracks; upload audio and artwork; list a recording for sale under a personal or an exclusive licence.

Content ownership and the rights you grant
Uploaded audio and artwork stay the uploader’s. Beathex needs a licence to store, transcode and deliver it. The exact scope of that licence requires legal drafting.

Suspension and termination
Accounts can be suspended by an operator, and media can be taken down. There is currently no self-service account deletion — see the Privacy notice.
