Questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video stays on your device: captions are styled, previewed and exported in your browser. Only when you use Auto captions or Sync my lyrics — after you tick “Allow listening” — the sound (never the picture) is sent for speech recognition, and Beathex does not keep it.
What does Export video produce?
An MP4 with the captions in the picture, in the style you chose, so they show everywhere — Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube. Your sound is copied untouched. In Chrome and Edge the export uses your graphics hardware and is fast; other browsers use a slower method, with a 720p or 480p choice. Under “More export options” you can also save an MP4 with switchable caption tracks, or SRT, VTT and TXT files.
Can captions be created or synced automatically?
Yes. Auto captions writes captions from what is spoken or sung, with a time for every word, and Sync my lyrics places your own lyrics where they are sung — no SRT file needed. Hindi and several other languages are supported. Singing over loud music can be misheard, so check the words: in Correct the words, click any word to fix it in one line or everywhere at once.
How accurate is the word-by-word highlight?
Captions made by Auto captions or Auto sync carry the time of each word, so the highlight follows the singer. For captions you type or import, the words are spread evenly across each caption — adjust its start and end for the best result.
